Welcome to the Rotary Club of South Pasadena

Serving South Pasadena Since 1938

Welcome to the Rotary Club of South Pasadena: a vibrant community of neighbors, professionals, business owners, educators, artists, and volunteers united by a shared commitment to Service Above Self.

For nearly nine decades, our club has been creating positive change in South Pasadena and beyond through hands-on service, leadership, friendship, and collaboration. Whether we’re supporting local schools, investing in youth leadership, improving our community, promoting peace, protecting the environment, or participating in humanitarian projects around the world, we believe meaningful change begins when people come together with a common purpose.

This Rotary year, under President Tom Camarda’s theme, Creativity for Lasting Impact, we celebrate the power of imagination in service. Lasting solutions are born when we welcome fresh ideas, embrace new partnerships, encourage innovation, and empower every member to contribute their unique talents. Together, we strive to build projects whose impact continues long after the work is complete.

Whether you’re looking to make a difference, connect with inspiring people, grow as a leader, or simply give back to your community, we invite you to discover Rotary and become part of our story.

This Month at Rotary - July 2026 • A New Rotary Year Begins

July marks the beginning of a new Rotary year: a time of fresh leadership, renewed purpose, and exciting opportunities to serve. Across the world, Rotary clubs welcome new presidents, celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, and begin imagining what can be achieved together in the months ahead.

For the Rotary Club of South Pasadena, this July begins an exciting new chapter under President Tom Camarda and our annual theme, Creativity for Lasting Impact. Throughout the year, we will challenge ourselves to think creatively, build meaningful partnerships, and develop projects that strengthen our community while creating benefits that endure for generations.

Whether you’re a longtime member or visiting us for the first time, there has never been a better time to get involved. We invite you to join us as we begin another year of friendship, service, leadership, and lasting impact.

July Area of Focus: Maternal & Child Health

Every mother deserves a safe pregnancy. Every child deserves a healthy start. Every family deserves hope. July is Maternal and Child Health Month in Rotary. Throughout this month, Rotary clubs around the world focus on one of Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus by supporting healthier pregnancies, safer births, childhood immunizations, proper nutrition, access to clean water and sanitation, and quality healthcare for mothers and children.

Around the world, far too many mothers and young children still lose their lives to preventable causes. Through The Rotary Foundation, Rotary members work alongside local communities to train healthcare professionals, equip medical clinics, provide life-saving vaccinations, and build sustainable healthcare programs that continue long after a project is complete.

Because where a child is born should never determine whether they have the chance to live, grow, and thrive. Together, we are helping create healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures—one mother, one child, and one act of service at a time.

Service Above Self begins with caring for the world’s most vulnerable.

We invite you to learn more about Rotary, volunteer with us, or become a member and help create lasting impact right here in South Pasadena and around the world.
