December: Disease Prevention & Treatment Month

December is Rotary International’s Disease Prevention & Treatment Month, a time when clubs worldwide focus on improving health, expanding access to medical care, and supporting the well-being of vulnerable communities.

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena lives this mission through hands-on service: from our weekly breakfasts for our unhoused neighbors in Downtown LA to our large-scale holiday outreach event, Joy in the Streets, taking place in DTLA on December 14. This annual effort brings warm meals, winter essentials, wrapped gifts, and compassionate care to more than a thousand individuals experiencing homelessness.

By uniting for good, we help build healthier, more resilient communities, one act of service at a time.
