March is Rotary’s Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Month, and in California, that message resonates deeply.

Living in a state shaped by droughts, oceans, aqueducts, and innovation, Californians understand that water is never just water. It is health, dignity, agriculture, equity, and the foundation of thriving communities.

Around the world, Rotary members are working to ensure that clean water and sanitation are not privileges, but basic human rights. From building sustainable wells to supporting hygiene education and sanitation infrastructure, Rotary’s WASH initiatives create lasting change, empowering communities to take ownership of their future.
