Step into the true spirit of the season at our 3rd Annual Joy in the Streets. Each December, the Rotary Club of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena High School Interact Club join forces with the Los Angeles First United Methodist Church and Monterey Hills Elementary to bring compassion to Downtown L.A. through "Joy in the Streets", our annual holiday gifting and breakfast event for those in need. Sometimes, homelessness feels like a distant issue, but in reality it's a shared human story.
"Joy in the Streets" reminds us of Rotary’s true purpose: to serve with empathy, restore dignity, and uplift those whom society too often forgets.
Let’s UNITE FOR GOOD and fill the air with music, compassion, joy, and hope. Together, we can remind every person that they are seen, valued, and loved.
CALL TO ACTION Downtown L.A. may not be your neighborhood, but it is our shared humanity. When Rotarians unite to serve those who have nothing, we show the world what compassion looks like. Because peace begins with empathy and sometimes, it can even begin with breakfast.
