Emergency grants to local restaurants to 

provide needed support during COVID-19.

Rotary, along with our partners, has reduced polio cases by 99 percent worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979. Click here to learn more about ending polio

 
 
Garfield Park Youth House

 

With a lead gift of $10,000 from the South Pasadena Rotary Foundation, the City of Pasadena and the Rotary Club volunteered time and talent to rebuild this important youth facility. Donations from the community totaled over $85,000, complimenting the City's contribution of $50,000. This Youth House now provides meeting space for local Scout groups, City workshops and much more!

INTERACT CLUB - South Pasadena High School

RYLA - Annual Rotary Youth Leadership Camp for High School Students

Annual Hensel Ethics Essay Contest for local high school students

College scholarship program for high school seniors.

 

Contributions on requested books to the South Pasadena Library in lieu of speaker gifts.

 

    

International Efforts

 

Corazon - Club members travel to Tecate, Mexico each year to build houses for eligible families.

 

Wheelchairs - Club members traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to deliver 280 wheelchairs to persons with disabilities.

 

Flying Samaritans - support for volunteer pilots and doctors who fly to Northern Baja to provide medical care at a local clinic.

 

Potable Water - support for water wells and sanitation systems in Haiti and Tanzania.

 

Stoves - support for stoves to provide heat and cooking in Guatemala.

 

Surgical Operating Tables - donation of a surgical table in New Delhi, India for a low-income hospital.

 

Mending Kids - support for pediatric surgical missions to Costa Rica, Guatemala and Peru.
